When we woke up on Sunday morning, we still thought that our 78-day journey around the UK was over. In that timeframe, we had attended soccer matches at all 20 Premier League stadiums in honor of Janelle’s brother, Jason. That morning we would be getting our chance to share with the world our story and our motivation behind our trip.
But by roughly 8:45am, we had learned that our journey just wasn’t quite over.

As the NBC Sports cameras were rolling during a live on-air interview with the amazing Rebecca Lowe, we learned that the Premier League and Tottenham Hotspur were providing us tickets and flying us out to London for the Spurs’ second-ever PL match at their new stadium on April 13th.
This means we will officially complete our goal as the Spurs new stadium was under construction during the entirety of our trip.
Janelle cried. I didn’t know what to say.
But it’s okay because REBECCA LOWE was standing right there with us!
We are extremely grateful and honored that both the Premier League and Spurs are helping us achieve this massive goal and honoring Jason.
21 Premier League stadiums for 20 teams. We are proud and honored to say that come April 13th we will have accomplished this feat in a single season.
